Let me introduce Cliff Catalyst to you.

My new initiative for curatorial collaboration and artist representation with the aim to share innovative aesthetics, themes and research with the focus on social choreography, ecology, spirituality, as well as the meaningful use of new technologies.

I would like to say that we choose to work together out of curiosity for each other's approach, thinking and ways we move through the performative world. It is about a sustainable way of touring, innovative teaching, research and the way each of us intertwines these different worlds into creation.

Curator & Mediator — Pia Krämer

As curator, Cliff aims to connect THREADS by creating a vital network of collaboration, advise in curatorial questions and assist to develop concepts and content creation for dance related programs, research and audience engagement.

As mediator, Pia Krämer offers individual consultations for artists who would like to discuss their career path by co-creating a personal intuitive strategy to develop their artistic work, collaborations and audiences. Further assist groups in team building, conflict resolving and finding new ways of working together with the support of emergence strategy tools.

Gaston Core. The Very Last Northern White Rhino

This work portrays life for life's sake, as the only function of these individuals is to live, to attest the existence of a species that belongs to the past. I imagine these huge mammals as terribly fragile creatures, their bodies irreplaceable like pieces of a living museum.

Anna Nowicka. Choreographic Works

The Opening started as a persistent call of my heart. It is research on how to instantly transform night dreams into choreographic situations, building a sense of community, intimacy, and openness. It is site specific, unrepeatable, and intentional. The basic set up is simple: you tell me a dream and I immediately dance it for you. I may dance it live or send you a recording with a written response. I may dance it outside, or in a theatre. It may only be the two of us, or we may be in a group. André Uerba. Choreographic Works

Æffective Choreography, a possible way of looking into intimacy, bodies and biographies. Inspired by his own experiences and observations, André Uerba plays with the idea of rehearsing intimacy on stage while overlapping it with his training as a Sexological Bodyworker. His reflections are purely a mindset on the hidden or unsaid - a power force - a fire that can consume or forge.

Selected for Pina Bausch Fellowship 2023 — In the framework of the fellowship, André will cooperate with Portuguese choreographer, dancer and writer Diana Niepce. André immerses himself in the field of disability arts and neurodiversity and will participate and assist in Niepce training program NORMA.

New creation Undisguised (working title) residency at Estúdios Vitor Cordon — 21 to 29 September — and research presentation at Goethe Institute Lisbon in the framework of O Espaço do Tempo — 30 September.

João Estevens. Performance Works

Cosmic Phase/Stage — The theatrical space is occupied by human beings and non-human beings (objects, structures, robotics), who move in an alternative post digital world. The constant change of the referential subject of the action makes the spectators have to adjust their interaction and communication dynamics along the object. This presents a dramaturgical path that promotes the fusion between the performance and the installation space, becoming a place of utopia and philosophy, which seeks reflection on art and technology.
